In order to measure the effectiveness of a program, evaluations should be conducted over time as the program is implemented. Safe & Civil Schools materials incorporate evaluative instruments (such as surveys, observation forms, and self-evaluation assessments) that can help program administrators assess efficacy.
Periodic evaluations of our programs have been conducted by several school districts as formative evaluations of their Safe & Civil Schools implementation. These evaluations employ a variety of measures to determine effectiveness and are available for review here.
