Nicole Bassett

Nicole Bassett began her career as a special education teacher at the elementary and high school levels working with students with disabilities in multiple settings. After 8 years in the classroom, she received her masters degree in School Counseling and, at the district level, began providing related service counseling and support to the most severe emotionally and behaviorally disabled students. She then served as the district behavior specialist, initiating and supporting Tier 1 positive behavior supports and a continuum of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions for campuses and students. During her time as a district coordinator, she provided training and coaching support for special education and inclusive teachers and classrooms as well as behavior supports for individual student behavior supports. After receiving her BCBA, she provided in-home Applied Behavior Analysis for students with autism and related disabilities and coordinated all special education high needs programs for a school district.

Her passion for implementing a proactive inclusive program for students with behavior and emotional disorders drove her to begin training and consulting with multiple districts for the PASS program. She now consults with districts across the country on Tier 1, 2, and 3 supports.
